John has published a book of forty-eight poems called "The Giro Years" and is making sales around town!

Toby from NeonTube delivered a training session at the Priory Centre on Friday 12th June, to which we invited some of the groups who had expressed interested during the trial of the site-build. Quill Writing Group came along, Great Yarmouth and District Photographic Society, Dragons Stage School and others.

Next ARC meeting

The next ARC meeting will be on 14th May at 8.00 p.m., at the Internet Cafe, 2 Broad Row, Great Yarmouth. Harry Harold will be attending to demonstrate EastCoastNet and to get feedback. For anybody who wants to meet for a drink prior to this we are gathering at the Star at 7.30 p.m.

Katarzyna will be exhibiting at Norwich Theatre Royal from the 13th May 2009.

Exhibiting Space at the Novus Centre

Derek Jackson is showing a set of photographs of the outer harbour at the Novus Centre from the 29th May, 2009. The gallery space is to the left of reception and visitors are welcome.

The new Novus Centre on The Conge, Great Yarmouth, has wall space in the spacious lobby to show contemporary artworks -a hanging system has been installed and insurance is provided. If you are interested, contact Sue Warnes at GY Enterprise on 0800 458 0146 or email info@enterpriseGY.co.uk.

ARC has been offered a grant from Community Builder (Neighbourhood Renewal Fund) to create an interactive internet site as a resource for all artists and arts groups and organisations in and around the Borough of Great Yarmouth. Watch this space! The site is being designed and built at the moment so now is a good time to make any suggestions or to put together a wish list for what the site might offer.
